Alan's Profile

• Over 27 years in finance and real estate (in Canada and internationally)
• Previously commercial banking manager - Bank of Montreal/Barclays
• Alan brings an extensive educational background to his real estate business: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Masters in Business Administraion, Canadian Securities Course, Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, Registered Relocation Specialist, Real Estate Agents qualification, active member of MENSA.
• Nominated and elected by his peers, he is a Director-at-Large of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and also Director of the local North Shore Division of that Board. He has served for some years on the Board’s Professional Conduct Committee.
• Alan is the host of “The Real Estate Show” on AM1410 (CFUN) and has addressed a number of “first time buyer” and other public seminars on Real Estate issues.
• Past achievements include Vancouver Real Estate Board Medallion Club (top 10%), Re/Max Presidents, Executive and 100% Clubs.
• He has broad experience in working with an array of residential properties in all price categories and has dealt with investors, relocation companies, headhunters, as well as families relocating to the North Shore, including many immigrating from other parts of Canada and the outside world.
• Alan is married with two boys (in the local school system) and is now into his 23rd year of residence on the North Shore. Alan is active in school/parent council matters, including organizing the North Vancouver chapter of Odyssey of the Mind.
